Operation 40020214277_01 atmoTEC exclusive, atmoTEC plus Operating instructions 94.5 Switching off the productEbar11. Use the main switch (1) to switch off the product.– In order for the protection modes, such as frost pro-tection, to remain activated, only activate and de-activate the product using the control (you can findinformation about this in the relevant operating in-structions).◁ 0: "OFF"2. If no control is present, turn the adjuster anti-clockwiseas far as it will go to switch off the heating and domestichot water mode.4.6 Checking the system pressureEbar11 − button▶ Check the heating installation's filling pressure at regularintervals. Briefly press the − (1) button.◁ The display will show the filling pressure for approx-imately 5 seconds.◁ The filling pressure must lie between 1.0 and 2.0 barwhen the heating installation is cold in order for theheating installation to operate properly. If the pres-sure is lower, you must add heating water beforestarting up.NoteYou can permanently switch between the tem-perature or pressure display in the display bypressing and holding the – button for approx-imately five seconds.NoteTo avoid operating the heating installation withan insufficient water volume and to preventpotential subsequent damage, the product isfitted with a pressure sensor. The pressuresensor signals the low pressure level if thelevel falls below 0.6 bar. This is signalled bythe system pressure value in the display flash-ing. If the level falls below 0.03 MPa (0.3 bar),the system displays the fault message andF.22 alternately, and the burner is blocked. Ifthe system pressure is lower than 0.06 MPa(0.6 bar), fill the heating installation up againas quickly as possible. As soon as the sys-tem pressure rises above 0.6 bar, the productstarts up again without any further measuresbeing required.NoteIf the heating installation extends over severalfloors, a higher system pressure for the heat-ing installation may be necessary. Ask yourcompetent person for details.4.7 Filling the heating installationCaution.Risk of material damage due to heatingwater that is extremely calciferous or cor-rosive or contaminated by chemicals.Unsuitable tap water damages the sealsand diaphragms, blocks components in theproduct and heating installation throughwhich the water flows and causes noise.▶ Only fill the heating installation with suit-able heating water.▶ In case of doubt, ask a competent personfor details.NoteThe competent person is responsible for filling theheating installation the first time.1. Connect the filling tap to a cold water pipe, as explainedby the competent person.2. Open all radiator valves (thermostatic valves) of theheating installation.3. Open the cold water pipe.4. Turn the filling tap on slowly and allow water to flow inuntil the required system pressure has been reached.5. Close the cold water pipe.6. Purge all radiators.7. Check the filling pressure of the heating installation.(→ Page 9)8. Top up with more water if required.9. Close the filling tap.10. Disconnect the filling tap from the cold water pipe.
