Push the cable retainershard up against the convection box flanges. Tightenthe screws in the retainers so that they clamp thecables in position. Apply tension to the cables byturning the hexagonal adjusters by hand (See figure20).12. Inspect the installation of the convection boxagainst the fireplace surround. If the convection boxis aligned squarely and the sealing is satisfactory,fully tighten the cable retainers.13. Push the free length of the cables through theadjacent holes in the convection box so that theyare available to allow easy removal and refitting ofthe appliance during subsequent service calls (Seefigure 20).10.3 Floor sealing.Using the floor sealing tape supplied, sealthe bottom of the convection box to thefireplace and hearth floor (See figure 21). DONOT COVER THE INFORMATION LABEL.10.4 Sealing convection box holes.The rear, inner sides and front flanges of theconvection box have small holes andopenings that will allow room air to pass intothe fireplace opening / flue box opening.Although these holes are no cause forconcern it is important to seal them tooptimise the performance of the fire. Anadditional length of tape is supplied with thefire, use this to seal any holes in the rear andinner sides of the convection box.
