These discs can get jammedin the CD drive and ruin the drive.An expensive replacement of thedevice will then be necessary.■ Audio CDs with copy protection,which are not in compliance withthe audio CD standard, may notplay correctly or not at all.■ Self-recorded CD-Rs and CD-RWsare more vulnerable to mishandlingthan prerecorded CDs. Correcthandling, especially in the case ofself-recorded CD-Rs and CD-RWs,must be ensured; see below.■ Self-recorded CD-Rs and CD-RWsmay not play correctly or not at all.■ On mixed mode CDs (combinationsof audio and data, e.g. MP3), onlythe audio tracks will be detectedand played.■ Avoid leaving fingerprints when youchange CDs/DVDs.■ Put CDs/DVDs back in theirsleeves immediately after removingthem from the audio player in orderto protect them from damage anddirt.■ Dirt and liquids on CDs/DVDs cansmear the lens of the audio playerinside the device and cause faults.■ Protect CDs/DVDs from heat anddirect sunlight.■ The following restrictions apply forthe data stored on an MP3/WMACD/DVD:
