Radio 23Control buttons -CD 50 with multimediaThe most important buttons forcontrol of the radio are:■ m / ON/OFF: Power on / off■ FM: FM waveband selection /Automatic station storing(Autostore)■ AM: MW waveband selection■ MUTE: Volume activation /deactivation (Mute/pause)■ AUDIO: Audio menu activationsettings (Bass, treble, balance,fader, loudness, audio delay,equalizer)■ MENU: AF switching, trafficinformation, regional mode, speedvolume, radio off mode, systemreset■ _ / 6: Automatic radio stationsearch mode■ R / S: Manual radio station searchmode (frequency, station name,stored station number)■ Station buttons 1...6: Preset stationbuttonsActivating the radioPress the ON/OFF button, then pressthe AM or FM buttons to switch theaudio source to radio.The station previously selected will bereceived.Selecting the wavebandPress the AM or FM buttonsrepeatedly to select the desiredwaveband.The following selected wavebandswill be shown on the display:■ AM: displays AM1 or AM2■ FM: displays FM1, FM2 or FMAThe station previously selected in thatwaveband will be received.Station searchAutomatic station searchCD 50Briefly press button _ or 6 to searchfor the next receivable station in thecurrent waveband.If no station is found, automaticsearching continues until _ or 6 ispressed again.CD 50 with multimediaBriefly press button _ or 6 to searchfor the next receivable station in thecurrent waveband.Press and hold the button _ or 6 tosearch for the required frequency.When the button is released, anautomatic search is then made for thenext receivable station and it is playedautomatically.Manual station searchCD 50Press the _ or 6 button on theInfotainment system:■ Press briefly and repeatedly: tostart a manual search for the nextreceivable station■ Press and hold: to start fastsearching in the required direction■ Release: tuning will stop and theInfotainment system display willshow the current station frequency
