Also check thecoolant temperature. If the coolant temperature is high, allow theengine to cool. Flush and fill the radiator with the correct coolant.5.13.3 Check the wiring of oil pressure switch (a) and the coolant temperatureswitch (b) (903 engines) or (c) (1003 engines). If the wiring of eitherswitch is shorted to ground, the engine will shut down. Be sure theswitches are functioning—check each for continuity. The oil pressureswitch is a normally closed (NC) switch that should have continuitywhen the engine is off. If the switch has no continuity when the engineis off, the switch is faulty; replace it.The high coolant temperature switch is a normally open (NO) switch.This switch should have no continuity when the engine is off.
