Operation3.1 Determining Power RequirementsWacker Neuson generator Model GV 7000A is designed to operatesingle-phase, 50 Hertz appliances running at 230 VAC. Model GV7003A is designed to operate single phase, 50 Hertz appliancesrunning at 230VAC and/or three-phase, 50 Hertz appliances runningat 400VAC. Both single and three phase sides of the generator may berun at the same time.NOTICE: Do not exceed the power output of the generator. Damageto tools or generator will occur. See Technical Data.Check the nameplate or label provided on tools and appliances tomake sure their power requirements are met by the power output of thegenerator. If the wattage is not given for a particular tool or appliance,contact the tool manufacturer for wattage requirements.Some appliances and tools require a surge of current when starting.This means that the amount of power needed to initially start theequipment is larger than the power required to keep it running. Thegenerator must be capable of supplying this "surge" current. Othertypes of appliances require more power than is actually stated on theirnameplate.The information in “Approximate Starting Power Requirements” isoffered only as a general guideline to help you determine powerrequirements for different types of equipment.
