Xerox Duplicator 8Disconnect DeviceThe power cable is the disconnect device for this equipment. It is attachedto the back of the machine as a plug-in device. To remove all electrical pow-er from the equipment, disconnect the power cable from the electrical out-let.Emergency Power OffIf any of the following conditions occur, turn off the machine immediatelyand disconnect the power cable(s) from the electrical outlet(s). Contactan authorized Xerox Service Representative to correct the problem:■ The equipment emits unusual odors or makes unusual noises.■ The power cable is damaged or frayed.■ A wall panel circuit breaker, fuse, or other safety device has beentripped.■ Liquid is spilled into the machine.■ The machine is exposed to water.■ Any part of the machine is damagedMaintenance Information■ Any operator product maintenance procedures will be described inthe user documentation supplied with the product.■ Do not carry out any maintenance on this product which is not de-scribed in the customer documentationWarning: Do not use aerosol cleaners. Aerosolcleaners can be explosive or flammable when usedon electromechanical equipment.■ Use supplies and cleaning materials only as directed in the Operatorsection of this manual.■ Do not remove covers or guards that are fastened with screws. Thereare no parts behind these covers that you can maintain or service.
