Ask the customer to downloaddifferent fonts from the host. The problem is solved.Y: Go to Final Actions.N: Go to step 3.3 Generate several System Controller Test Prints. The print job exhibits the extraneous markings.Y: Check the Laser Assembly and EP Cartridge grounds for damage or contamination.N: Go to step 4.4 Open the Front Cover and visually inspect the left drum grounding plate on the EP Cartridge andthe left drum support. They are free of damage and contamination.Y: Go to step 5.N: Repair or replace the grounding spring or the EP Cartridge if necessary.5 Disconnect the host interface cable. Attempt to generate a test print. The test print is free fromdefects.Y: Go to step 6.N: Replace the System Controller, then replace the Printer Engine Controller.6 Check for a problem with the host interface cable. Ensure that the host interface cable meetsspecifications. The cable is within the maximum length.• Parallel: 10 ft.
