There are three accounting options:• Network Accounting• Xerox Standard Accounting• Foreign Device InterfaceTools > Accounting > Accounting EnablementNetwork AccountingNetwork Accounting provides the System Administrator with the ability to trackthe use of the device per job per account. Users must enter their User ID andAccount ID to access the machine and information about the jobs performedare stored in a job log.Copy, Print, inbound and outbound Embedded Fax, outbound Server Fax, E-mail and Network Scanning jobs are tracked (if these options are installed onthe device).The machine requires the Network Accounting Kit to be installed and networkaccess to a Xerox approved External Accounting System.Xerox Standard Accounting (XSA)XSA tracks the numbers of Copy, Print, Networking Scanning, E-mail, ServerFax and Embedded Fax jobs (when these features are installed on themachine), for each user. Usage limits can also be applied to users to restrictthe total numbers of copy, print, fax and scan jobs that a user can perform.System Administrators can print a report which contains all XSA data.XSA is set up via CentreWare Internet Services, the machine's embeddedweb browser. System Administrators create accounts and specify limitsbefore users are authorized to access the machine.XSA is standard on the device and requires no additional software.When XSA is set up, users must enter their account IDs at the machine to usethe device. When they have finished their job, their XSA allocation is reducedby the number of prints, copies or scans performed.The XSA feature is mutually exclusive from any other accounting feature. IfXSA is enabled at the device, you cannot enable Foreign Device Interface orNetwork Accounting.
