4-23Circuit4-2-2 MOTOR CONTROL PARTGENERALThis part use 1 dc motor and 2 stepper motors,i.e. CR(Cartridge Return) motor and LF(Line Feed)motor, SCAN motor.CR motor moves left and right all-in-one carriage ofinkjet head. It helps the printer print accurately onthe paper. LF motor is driven to feed and eject paperfor priting and to feed and eject documents to readfor scanning. CR dc motor is controlled dc controlblock, while LF motor half step and quarter step atmaximum 6ips.CR(CARRIAGE RETURN) MOTORDRIVING CIRCUITCR motor moves the carriage left and right when inkcartridge prints something on paper.- Motor Type : PMDC Motor- Driving Voltage : +30V- Winding Resistance : 11Ω ± 2ΩCR driving circuit has a protection circuit which isenabled at 550mA and cut off the motor current. As shown in the table below, current in each modeis adjusted by voltage of driver(U5) PIN12 input. Ifthe PWM signal controlled by MFP controller(MainPBA U15) is “high”.It becomes the standard of the driver, resulting inhigh current drive mode. If PWM is “low”, it results inno current in the motor.Motor DriverDIRPWMCURRENTDIRECTIONOPERATIONOFF ON OFF ONL L H HL H L HX B › A X outA ›out BoutB ›out A A › BSTOP RIGHT STOP LEFTDIRECTION DIRECTION
