If the problem persists, please refer to theInformation section for the appropriate telephone numbers.Condition Suggested solutionsReady indicatordoes not light.Check that the WorkCentre is pluggedinto an electrical receptacle.Ensure that there is power to thereceptacle and that the WorkCentrepower is in the ON position.Copies are toolight or too dark.If the original is light, select the lowercopy contrast position to darken thebackground of the copies. Check for abroken Corotron Wire. Refer toWorkCentre Care section for thelocation of the corotron wire.If the original is dark, select the uppercopy contrast position to lighten thebackground of the copies.Smears, lines,marks, or spotson copies.If defects are on the original, press theCopy Contrast Key to lighten thebackground of your copies.If no defects are on the original, cleanthe Document Glass and underside ofthe Document Cover. (Refer toWorkCentre Care.)If the above solutions do not help, cleanthe Corotron Wire. (Refer to WorkCentreCare.)Copy image isskewed.Ensure that original is positionedcorrectly on Document Glass.Check that copy paper is loadedcorrectly.Blank copies.
