All ethanolblends containing more than 10% ethanolcan cause fuel system damage or cause en-gine starting and running problems. Yamahadoes not recommend gasohol containingmethanol because it can cause fuel systemdamage or engine performance problems.It is recommended that you install a water-separating marine fuel filter assembly (10 mi-cron minimum) between your boat’s fuel tankand outboard motor when using ethanol.
