Wipe up anyspilled fuel immediately. The fuel filter must be reassembledcarefully with the O-ring, filter cup, andhoses in place. Remove the nut holding the fuel filter as-sembly if equipped.2. Unscrew the filter cup, catching anyspilled fuel in a rag.3. Remove the filter element, and wash it insolvent. Allow it to dry. Inspect the filter el-ement and O-ring to make sure they arein good condition. Replace them if neces-sary. If any water is found in the fuel, theYamaha portable fuel tank or other fueltanks should be checked and cleaned.
