If there is afuel joint on the outboard motor, discon-nect the fuel line or close the fuel cock ifthe engine will be tilted for more than afew minutes. Otherwise fuel may leak.CAUTION:ECM00241 Before tilting the outboard motor, stopthe engine by following the procedureon page 33. Never tilt the outboard mo-tor while the engine is running. Severedamage from overheating can result.
