The INPUT indicators blinkand the volume is decreased to the lowest settingautomatically, then the INPUT indicators stopflashing and the last input source selected lights up.Confirm normal sound output from speakers byincreasing the volume gradually.10The speaker is malfunctioning. Replace the speaker set and press the A (power)switch again. Set the unit in a place where heat canreadily dissipate from the unit.—The IMPEDANCE SELECTOR switch isnot fully slid to either position.Turn the power off and slide the IMPEDANCESELECTOR switch all the way to the correct position. 5The IMPEDANCE SELECTOR switch isnot set to the correct position.Set the IMPEDANCE SELECTOR switch to theposition that corresponds to the impedance of yourspeakers.5This unit has been exposed to a strongexternal electric shock (such as lightningor strong static electricity).Turn off this unit, disconnect the power cable, plug itback in after 30 seconds, then use the unit normally. —There is a problem with the internalcircuitries of this unit.Disconnect the power cable and contact the nearestauthorized Yamaha dealer or service center. —No sound.
