Otherwise, the outboard mo-tor could fall.1. Be sure to mount the outboard motorwhile the boat is on land. If the boat is onthe water, move it to an area on land.2. To prevent steering movement, turn thesteering friction adjuster clockwise.3. Turn the tiller handle 180° so that it ispointing rearward.4.
