INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS3-73To switch the air intake temperaturedisplay to the clock, first set the displayto the odometer or tachometer mode,and then push the “RESET” button forat least two seconds.NOTE:The clock is automatically displayedwhen the key is turned to “OFF”.To set the clock:1. Push the “SELECT” button and“RESET” button together for atleast two seconds.2. When the hour digits start flashing,push the “RESET” button to set thehours.3. Push the “SELECT” button, andthe minute digits will start flashing.4. Push the “RESET” button to setthe minutes.5. Push the “SELECT” button andthen release it to start the clock.Air intake temperature modeThe temperature displayed may varyfrom the outside temperature depend-ing on engine conditions. To switch theclock to the air intake temperaturemode, first set the display to the odom-eter or tachometer mode, and thenpush the “RESET” button for at leasttwo seconds.Fuel meterWith the key in the “ON” position, thefuel meter indicates the amount of fuelin the fuel tank. When the key is turnedto “ON”, all of the display segments ofthe fuel meter will appear one after theother and then disappear in order totest the electrical circuit. The displaysegments of the fuel meter disappeartowards “E” (Empty) as the fuel leveldecreases. When only one segment isleft near “E” (Empty), refuel as soon aspossible.NOTE:This fuel meter is equipped with a self-diagnosis system.
