English3IF2108/2208 Owner’s ManualNeutrik Speakon NL4 plug wiringConnect the plugs as shown below.Be sure to use proper speaker cable-not shielded instrument orline cable-for all speaker connections.The Speakon jack and barrier strip terminals areconnected in parallel.Suspended Installation● The strength of the suspension points on the speaker is 60 kgper point (maximum).● Before doing any installation or construction work, consultwith an installation expert.● When choosing the installation location, suspension wire andmounting hardware, make sure all are strong enough tosupport the weight of the speaker.● Some fittings may deteriorate over extended periods of timedue to wear and or corrosion. For optimum safety, theinstallation should be checked thoroughly at regular intervals.■ Using eye bolts for suspensionFor optimum safety, make sure to carefully follow theprecautions below.● Use only the supplied eye bolts.● Use three or more eye bolts for suspended installations.● Use the optional array frame if you intend to suspend aspeaker from another suspended speaker.● Install the eye bolts to multiple surfaces of the speaker, notjust one surface.■ Eye bolt strengthKeep in mind that the strength of the eye bolt differsdepending on the suspension angle of the speaker. Makesure that the load for each eye bolt is less than 740 kgwhen suspending at an angle of 0 degrees, and less than185 kg at an angle of 45 degrees.When using the eye bolts,make sure that thesuspension angle is withinthe range of 0 to 45degrees, as shown below.Do not suspend the eye bolts asshown in the diagram below.Rotatable horn1. Remove all fixing screws on the grille, and remove thegrille from the speaker.2.
