14 EnTo set the clock, press and hold CLOCK or pressOPTION to enter CLOCK SET of the option menu.As for the setting, refer to “Using option menu” onpage 15.Once you set the clock, you can display the clock on thefront panel display.When you press CLOCK while the power is on, the clockis displayed on the front panel display for a few seconds.When you press CLOCK during standby mode, you canselect whether to display the clock on the front paneldisplay or not.• This unit supports 24-hour clock display.• The clock setting will be lost if you disconnect the power cablefrom the wall outlet for several minutes.■ Using the timerThe timer sets the unit to play back music at the time youset.To set the timer, press and hold TIMER or press OPTIONto enter TIMER SET of the option menu.As for the setting, refer to “Using option menu” onpage 15.To use the timer, set the appropriate input source securelyand set the timer in the option menu in advance (☞ P. 16).TIMER OFF: To set the timer off.TIMER ONCE: To set the timer once.TIMER EVERY: To set the timer everyday at the sametime.When you switch the timer set to TIMER EVERY orTIMER ONCE, the TIMER indicator lights up on thefront panel display.• The clock has to be set in advance.• When the timer is set, the TIMER indicator lights up on thefront panel display.
