Tighten the axle nut, then the lock-nuts to their specified torques.4. Make sure that the drive chainpullers are in the same position,the drive chain slack is correct,and the drive chain movessmoothly.5. Install the drive chain puller caps.EAU23026Cleaning and lubricating thedrive chainThe drive chain must be cleaned andlubricated at the intervals specified inthe periodic maintenance and lubrica-tion chart, otherwise it will quickly wearout, especially when riding in dusty orwet areas. Clean the drive chain with kero-sene and a small soft brush.NOTICE: To prevent damagingthe O-rings, do not clean thedrive chain with steam cleaners,high-pressure washers or inap-propriate solvents.
