(Refer topage 14 for details on Advanced YAMAHA Active ServoTechnology.) This super-bass sound adds a morerealistic, theater-in-the-home effect to your stereo system.● This subwoofer can be easily added to your existingaudio system by connecting to either the speakerterminals or the line output (pin jack) terminals of theamplifier.● The AUTO STANDBY switch saves you the trouble ofsetting the POWER switch to the ON or OFF position.The speaker package “NS-P230 and NS-P236” is designedfor use in a multi-channel audio system such as a hometheater system.NS-P230 includes four NX-230P speaker systems, one NX-C230 speaker system and one YST-SW005 subwoofersystem.NS-P236 includes five NX-230P speaker systems, one NX-C230 speaker system and one YST-SW005 subwoofersystem.SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR U.K. MODELIMPORTANT:THE WIRES IN MAINS LEAD ARE COLOURED INACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CODE:Blue: NEUTRALBrown: LIVEAs the colours of the wires in the mains lead of thisapparatus may not correspond with the coloured markingsidentifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected tothe terminal which is marked with the letter N or colouredBLACK. The wire which is coloured BROWN must beconnected to the terminal which is marked with the letter Lor coloured RED. Making sure that neither core isconnected to the earth terminal of the three pin plug.For U.K. customersIf the socket outlets in the home are not suitable for the plugsupplied with this appliance, it should be cut off and anappropriate 3 pin plug fitted.
