NS-C50 Natural Sound Center Speaker System1 2NS-P50 “NS-P50” is the package numberwhich includes the YAMAHAspeaker system NS-C50 and NS-E50.PRECAUTIONSThis model is designed to be used as a center speakersystem.Read these precautions carefully before using yourspeaker.● Any time you note distortion, reduce the volume controlon your amplifier to a lower setting. Never allow youramplifier to be driven into “clipping”. Otherwise thespeaker may be damaged.● When using an amplifier with a rated output power higherthan the nominal input power of the speaker, care shouldbe taken never to exceed the speaker’s maximum input.● Do not attempt to clean the speaker with chemicalsolvents as this might damage the finish. To clean, wipewith a dry, soft cloth.● To prevent the enclosure from warping or discoloring, donot place the speaker where it will be exposed to directsunlight or excessive humidity.● Do not place the speaker where it is liable to be knockedover or struck by falling objects. Stable placement willalso ensure better sound performance.● Placing the speaker on the same shelf or rack as theturntable can result in feedback.● Secure placement or installation is the owner’sresponsibility.YAMAHA shall not be liable for any accident causedby improper placement or installation of the speaker.PLACING THE SPEAKERPlace the speaker on top of the TV or on the floor underthe TV or inside the TV rack so that it is stabilized.When placing the speaker on top of the TV, to prevent thespeaker from falling down, put the provided velcro strips attwo points on both bottom of the speaker and top of theTV.Notes• Do not place the speaker on top of the TV whosearea is smaller than the bottom area of the speaker. Ifplaced, the speaker may drop out causing an injuryto you.• Though this speaker is a magnetic shielding type,there may be some influence on a TV picturedepending on the type of TV or the placement of thespeaker.
