Englishi EnEspañolRTLPortable Player DockPDX-50 OWNER’S MANUALMANUAL DE INSTRUCCIONESCAUTION:Readthisbeforeoperatingyourunit.Toassurethefinestperformance,pleasereadthismanualcarefully.Keepitinasafeplaceforfuturereference.Installthisunitinawellventilated,cool,dry,cleanplace-awayfromdirectsunlight,heatsources,vibration,dust,moisture,and/orcold.(Donotuse/keepthisunitinacaretc.)Locatethisunitawayfromotherelectricalappliances,motors,ortransformerstoavoidhummingsounds.Donotexposethisunittosuddentemperaturechangesfromcoldtohot,anddonotlocatethisunitinanenvironmentwithhighhumidity(i.e.aroomwithahumidifier)topreventcondensationinsidethisunit,whichmaycauseanelectricalshock,fire,damagetothisunit,and/orpersonalinjury.Avoidinstallingthisunitwhereforeignobjectsmayfallontothisunitand/orthisunitmaybeexposedtoliquiddrippingorsplashing.Onthetopofthisunit,doNOTplace:Othercomponents,astheymaycausedamageand/ordiscolorationonthesurfaceofthisunit.Burningobjects(i.e.candles),astheymaycausefire,damagetothisunit,and/orpersonalinjury.Containerswithliquidinthem,astheymayfallandliquidmaycauseelectricalshocktotheuserand/ordamagetothisunit.Donotcoverthisunitwithanewspaper,tablecloth,curtain,etc.inordernottoobstructheatradiation.Ifthetemperatureinsidethisunitrises,itmaycausefire,damagetothisunit,and/orpersonalinjury.Donotoperatethisunitupside-down.Theymayoverheat,possiblycausingdamage.Donotuseforceonswitches,knobs,and/orcords.Whendisconnectingthepowercable/ACadaptorfromthewalloutlet,grasptheACplug;donotpullthecord.Donotcleanthisunitwithchemicalsolvents;thismightdamagethefinish.Useaclean,drycloth.Onlythevoltagespecifiedonthisunitmustbeused.Usingthisunitwithahighervoltagethanspecifiedisdangerousandmaycausefire,damagetothisunit,and/orpersonalinjury.Yamahawillnotbeheldresponsibleforanydamageresultingfromuseofthisunitwithavoltageotherthanthatspecified.Donotattempttomodifyorfixthisunit.ContactqualifiedYamahaservicepersonnelwhenanyserviceisneeded.Thecabinetshouldneverbeopenedforanyreason.Whennotplanningtousethisunitforlongperiodsoftime(i.e.whengoingonvacation),disconnectallACplugsfromthewalloutlet.Besuretoreadthe“TROUBLESHOOTING”sectionregardingcommonoperatingerrorsbeforeconcludingthattheunitisfaulty.Beforemovingthisunit,disconnectallACplugsfromthewalloutlets.BesuretousetheACadaptorssuppliedwiththisunit.UsinganACadaptorotherthanthoseprovidedmaycausefireordamagetothisunit.InstallthisunitnearthewalloutletandwheretheACplugscanbereachedeasily.1�2�3�4�−−−5�6�7�8�9�10�11�12�13�14�15�16�Foraddedprotectionforthisproductduringalightningstorm,orwhenitisleftunattendedandunusedforlongperiodsoftime,unplugitfromthewalloutlet.Thiswillpreventdamagetotheproductduetolightningandpower-linesurges.ThereisachancethatplacingthisunittooclosetoaCRT-based(Brauntube)TVsetmightimpairpicturecolor.Shouldthishappen,movethisunitawayfromtheTVset.Donotusethisunitwithin22cm(9inches)ofpersonswithaheartpacemakerimplantordefibrillatorimplant.WARNINGTOREDUCETHERISKOFFIREORELECTRICSHOCK,DONOTEXPOSETHISUNITTORAINORMOISTURE.EvenifaniPhoneoriPodisnotconnectedtothisunit,thisunitisnotdisconnectedfromtheACpowersourceaslongasitisconnectedtothewalloutlet.Inthisstate,thisunitisdesignedtoconsumeaverysmallquantityofpower.17� |
