Repair any damage beforerestarting the machine.Be extra careful when handling battery acid.Acid can cause severe burns.Never smoke when performing maintenance onthe battery. The battery can explode.Do not alter the setting of the governor and donot race the engine.Never make adjustments with the engine run-ning.Grass catcher components are subject to wear,damage and deterioration, which could exposemoving parts or allow objects to be thrown.Frequently check components and replace withgenuine parts, when necessary. Setparking brake, turn off fuel valve and strapmachine to trailer. NOTE: Parking brake will nothold machine when transporting. Be sure to tiedown the machine to trailer.
