5-38 SM-18001-rev.1EXTERNAL INPUT/OUTPUT AND FUNCTION SETTING5.5 Functions from Wired ControllerThe functions are available from the wired controller CIW01 as follows.Regarding setting procedure, refer to the “Operation Manual” for the Wired Controller.5.5.1 Power Saving FunctionNOTE:The following functions (1)~(3) cannot be operated at the same time.(1) Outdoor Unit Capacity ControlThe demand function setting can be controlled from wired controller. Select from “Peak Cut Control”and “Moderate Control” according to the situation.NOTES:1. The power set value (%) is just a criterion. The power set value for this function is different from theactual power value in precision. Use the demand controller (option) when it is necessary to managethe maximum power correctly.2. The cooling capacity is decreased according to the power saving setting value for the reducing ofcompressor motor revolution.3. The actual electrical power consumption may be higher than the value displayed on the screen undercertain operating condition such as protective control.4. This function is used to inhibit power consumption of the operating. Do not use it for minimize thecapacity of current and the voltage for the power circuit, power supply wiring, GFCI, transformer, etc. Itmay cause actuation of the interrupter and equipment fault.5.
