Install condensate drain line from the 1inch NPT female connection on the unit to an open drain.Figure 19: Condensate DrainCompressorsThe scroll compressor used in this product is specificallydesigned to operate with R-410A Refrigerant and cannot beinterchanged.The compressor also uses a polyolester (POE oil), Mobil 3MAPOE. This oil is extremely hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs waterreadily. POE oil can absorb 15 times as much water as other oilsdesigned for HCFC and CFC refrigerants. Take all necessaryprecautions to avoid exposure of the oil to the atmosphere.POE (polyolester) compressor lubricants are known to causelong term damage to some synthetic roofing materials.Procedures which risk oil leakage include, but are not limited to,compressor replacement, repairing refrigerant leaks, replacingrefrigerant components such as filter drier, pressure switch,metering device or coil.Units are shipped with compressor mountings which arefactory-adjusted and ready for operation.This system uses R-410A Refrigerant which operates athigher pressures than R-22. No other refrigerant may beused in this system.3" MinimumDo not leave the system open to the atmosphere. Unitdamage could occur due to moisture being absorbed bythe POE oil in the system. This type of oil is highlysusceptible to moisture absorptionExposure, even if immediately cleaned up, may causeembrittlement (leading to cracking) to occur in one yearor more. When performing any service that may riskexposure of compressor oil to the roof, take precautionsto protect roofing.Do not loosen compressor mounting bolts.
