4.Refrigerant PipeUse the refrigerant according to outdoor nameplate. When carrying on the leakage check and test, do notmix in the oxygen, the acetylene and flammable andthe reactive gas, these gases are quite dangerous, and may possibly cause explosion. It is suggestedthat the compressed air, the nitrogen or therefrigerant is used to perform these experiments.4.1 The Pipe Material(1) Prepare the copper pipe on the spot.(2) Choose dustless, non-humid, clean copper pipe. Before installing the pipe, use nitrogen or dry air toblow away the tube dust and impurity.(3)Choose the copper pipe according to Fig. 4.2.4.2 Piping connection(1) The connection positions of the pipe are shown inFig. 4.1 and Fig. 4.2.9Fig. 4.1 The connection positions of the tubeFig. 4.2 The pipe diameterThe refrigerant gas pipeThe refrigerant liquid pipe(2) As shown in Fig. 4.3, screw up the nuts with 2 spanners.Fig. 4.3 Screw up the nut torque(3) After finishing connecting the refrigerant pipes, keepit warm with the insulation material.φ6.35mmφ9.52mmφ12.7mmφ15.88mmφ19.05mmTube size20406080100Torque(N .m)Fig. 4.4 Piping insulation procedureClamp(attached) Insulation (attached)Refrigerant pipe(field supplied)Side of theindoor unitInsulation( )field suppliedInstallation and MaintenanceDANGERDrain pipe connection hole·The pipe goes through the hole with the seal.Protected with the tape or plug.Do not put the pipes on thefloor directly.CAUTION·Do not put the pipes on the floor directly.unit:mmModelCapacity(Btu/h)Gas Pipe Liquid Pipe9K/12K Φ9.52 Φ6.3518K φ12.7 φ6.3524K φ15.88 φ9.5236K/42K/48K/55K φ19.05 φ9.52Fig. 4.2 The pipe diameter
