Programme selector dial and On/Off indicatorlight: the selection of a washing programme occurs byturning the programme selector dial clockwise or anticlockwise,until the desired washing programme (see "Washingprogrammes" chart) corresponds with the programme selectionmarker placed on the dial (position On). The On/Off indicatorlight illuminates.The indicator lights of the phases foreseen for the selectedprogramme start flashing.To switch off the machine turn the programme selector dialuntil the marker on the dial corresponds with the On/Offindicator light (position Off). The On/Off indicator light turns off.With the programme selector dial it is also possible to set thelevel of the water softener (see specific paragraph).Half load button: this function is useful and economicalwhen only a few dishes need washing reducing theconsumption of water and energy. This option must be linkedto the selection of a washing programme.The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.Load the dishes into both baskets (lower basket and upperbasket).With the selection of this function, the prewash phase isautomatically excluded with programmes Intensive 70°C andNormal 65°C. (In this case the detergent dose for the prewashphase is no longer necessary).The duration of the washing phase with programme Eco 50°Cwill be reduced.With programmes Quick 65°C A 30I and Rinse and Hold it isnot possible to select the half load function (Buttondeactivated - indicator light off).When using this option we recommend to reduce the dose ofdetergent that is normally used for a complete load."Start/Cancel" button: once a washing programme hasbeen set, press this button to start the programme.The start/cancel indicator light (placed above the button)illuminates.With this button it is possible to cancel a washing programmein progress.Indicator lights: have the following meanings:As soon as you select a washing programme, the phaseindicator lights for that programme will start flashing.As the programme starts, the phase indicator lights turn offexcept for the indicator light of the phase in progress which willremain lit with a static light.The salt indicator light is never illuminated while a washingprogramme is running even if filling with salt is necessary.The control panel7Programme selector dialIndicator lightsDoor handleProgramme guideOn/Off indicator lightStart/Cancel indicator lightProgramme selection markerStart/Cancel buttonHalf load buttonWash: illuminates when the washing and rinsingphases are running.Dry: illuminates when the drying phase is running.End of programme: illuminates when the washingprogramme has ended.It also has added functions of visualsignalling as:- the setting of the water softener,- intervention of an alarm due to the malfunction ofthe machine.Salt refilling indicator light: illuminates when thesalt has run out.
