20CommissioningWhen the hob has been fully installed it will be necessaryto check the minimum flame setting. To do this, followthe procedure below.- Turn the gas tap to the MAX position and ignite.- Set the gas tap to the MIN flame position then turnthe control knob from MIN to MAX several times. Ifthe flame is unstable or is extinguished follow theprocedure below.) Procedure:- Re-ignite the burner and set to MIN.- Remove the control knob and use a thin bladedscrewdriver to turn the adjustment screw until theflame is steady and does not extinguish, when theknob is turned from MIN to MAX.- The adjustment screw may be located at the centreof the gas tap control shaft or on the gas tap body,left of the control shaft or below (see diagram).- Repeat the adjustment procedure for all burners.) Pressure Testing- Remove left hand pan support and front left burnercap and crown.- Fit manometer tube over the injector.- Turn on the burner gas supply and ignite anotherburner.- The pressure reading should be nominally 20mbarand must be between 17 mbar and 25mbar.- Turn off the burner supplies.AdjustmentscrewElectrical connectionsNeutralEarth (yellow/green)The appliance is designed to be connected to 220 Vmonophase electricity supply.The connection must be carried out in compliance withthe laws and regulations in force.Before the appliance is connected:1) check that the main fuse and the domestic installationcan support the load (see the rating label);2) check that the power supply is properly earthed incompliance with the current rules;3) check the socket or the double pole switch used forthe electrical connection can be easily reached withthe appliance built in the forniture unit.Connect the plug, able to support the load marked on theidentification plate, to the cable. The plug has to be fittedin a proper socket.If connecting the appliance directly to the electric system,it is necessary that you install a double pole switchbetween the appliance and the electricity supply, with aminimum gap of 3 mm. between the switch contacts andof a type suitable for the required load in compliance withthe current rules.The earth cable (yellow/green) must not be interrupted bythe interrupter.The connection cable has to be placed in order that, ineach part, it cannot reach a temperature of 90 °C.The brown coloured phase cable (fitted in the terminalblock contact marked with "L") must always be connectedto the network phase.
