6Cleaning and MaintenanceGeneral cleaningWash the enamelled components with warm soapywater. Never use abrasive cleanersFrequently wash the "caps" and the "crowns" with hotsoapy water, carefully taking away any built-up of food.Regularly wipe over the hob top using a soft cloth weelwrung out in warm water to which a little liquid detergenthas been added. Avoid the use of the following:- household detergent and bleaches;- impregnated pads unsuitable for non-stick saucepans;- steel wool pads;- bath/sink stain removers.Should the hob top become heavily soiled, it isrecommended that a proper cleaning product is used.Pan supportsThe pan supports are dishwasher proof.If the marks are particularly difficult to remove, usecommon non-abrasive cleaners or specific products.Never use steel wool pads or acids.The BurnersThe burner caps and crowns (Fig. 1) can be removed forcleaning. Wash the burner caps and crowns using hotsoapy water, and remove marks with a mild paste cleaner.A well moistened soap impregnated steel wool pad canbe used with caution, if the marks are particularly difficultto remove. After cleaning, be sure to wipe dry with a softcloth.Periodic MaintenancePeriodically ask your local Service Centre to check theconditions of the gas supply pipe and the pressureadjuster, if fitted.To ensure the good operation of the hob and its safetyfeatures, it is necessary that the taps are periodicallylubricated.zzzzz The periodic lubrication of the taps must becarried out by qualified personnel, which youmust refer to also in case of malfunctioning.Fig. 3 FO 2110
