Care and cleaningWarning! Switch the appliance off and let it cooldown before you clean it. Disconnect the appliancefrom the electrical supply, before carrying out anycleaning or maintenance work.Warning! For safety reasons, do not clean theappliance with steam cleaners or high-pressurecleaners.Warning! Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel woolpads or acids, they can cause damage to theappliance.• You can remove the pan supports to easily clean thehob.• To clean the enamelled parts, cap and crown, wash itwith warm soapy water.• Stainless steel parts wash with water, and then dry witha soft cloth.• The pan supports are not dishwasher proof; they mustbe washed by hand .• When you wash the pan supports by hand, take carewhen you dry them as the enamelling process occa-sionally leaves rough edges. If necessary, removestubborn stains using a paste cleaner.• Make sure you position the pan supports correctly aftercleaning.• To make burners work correctly, make sure that thearms of the pan supports are in the centre of the burn-er.• Be very careful when you replace the pan supports toprevent the hob top from damage.After cleaning, dry the appliance with a soft cloth.The stainless steel can become tarnished if it is too muchheated. Refer to this you must not cook with potstones,earthenware pans or cast iron plates. Do not use alumini-um foil to prevent damage the top during operation.Cleaning of the spark plugThis feature is obtained through a ceramic ignition candlewith a metal electrode.
