• Keep the minimum distance from otherappliances and units.• Always take care when moving the appliance asit is heavy. Always use safety gloves andenclosed footwear.• Seal the cut surfaces with a sealant to preventmoisture to cause swelling.• Protect the bottom of the appliance from steamand moisture.• Do not install the appliance adjacent to a dooror under a window. This prevents hot cookwarefalling from the appliance when the door or thewindow is opened.• If the appliance is installed above drawers makesure that the space, between the bottom of theappliance and the upper drawer, is sufficient forair circulation.• The bottom of the appliance can get hot. Makesure to install a non-combustible separationpanel under the appliance to prevent access tothe bottom.ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONWARNING! Risk of fire and electricshock.• All electrical connections should be made by aqualified electrician.• The appliance must be earthed.• Before carrying out any operation make surethat the appliance is disconnected from thepower supply.• Make sure that the parameters on the ratingplate are compatible with the electrical ratingsof the mains power supply.• Make sure the appliance is installed correctly.Loose and incorrect electricity mains cable orplug (if applicable) can make the terminalbecome too hot.• Use the correct electricity mains cable.• Do not let the electricity mains cable tangle.• Make sure that a shock protection is installed.• Use the strain relief clamp on the cable.• Make sure the mains cable or plug (ifapplicable) does not touch the hot appliance orhot cookware, when you connect the applianceto the near sockets.• Do not use multi-plug adapters and extensioncables.• Make sure not to cause damage to the mainsplug (if applicable) or to the mains cable.Contact our Authorised Service Centre or anelectrician to change a damaged mains cable.• The shock protection of live and insulated partsmust be fastened in such a way that it cannot beremoved without tools.• Connect the mains plug to the mains socketonly at the end of the installation. Make sure thatthere is access to the mains plug after theinstallation.• If the mains socket is loose, do not connect themains plug.• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect theappliance. Always pull the mains plug.• Use only correct isolation devices: lineprotecting cut-outs, fuses (screw type fusesremoved from the holder), earth leakage tripsand contactors.• The electrical installation must have an isolationdevice which lets you disconnect the appliancefrom the mains at all poles. The isolation devicemust have a contact opening width of minimum3 mm.GAS CONNECTION• All gas connections must be made by a qualifiedperson.• Before installation, make sure that the localdistribution conditions (nature of the gas andgas pressure) and the adjustment of theappliance are compatible.• Make sure that there is air circulation around theappliance.• The information about the gas supply is on therating plate.• This appliance is not connected to a device,which evacuates the products of combustion.Make sure to connect the appliance accordingto current installation regulations. Follow therequirements for adequate ventilation.USEWARNING!
