Warranty and liabilityWarranty conditionsThe CC Ease is covered by amanufacturer’s warranty for a period of 24months after fitting up to a maximum of30 months after the date of manufacture.Warranty claims may only be submittedfor material faults and/or constructionfaults arising during the warranty period.In the case of a warranty claim, the CCEase must not be dismantled withoutwritten permission from the manufacturer.Spare parts are only covered by thewarranty if they were supplied by themanufacturer and have been installed byan approved fitter.The warranty becomes invalid if:■ The guarantee period has elapsed;■ Parts are used which were not suppliedby the manufacturer;■ Unauthorized alterations and/ormodifications have been made to theunit.LiabilityThe CC Ease is designed andmanufactured for use with a balancedventilation system with heat recovery. Anyother application is seen as inappropriateuse and can result in damage to theCC Ease or personal injury, for which themanufacturer cannot be held liable.The manufacturer is not liable for anydamage originating from:■ Non-compliance with the safety,operating and maintenance instructionsin this manual;■ The use of components not suppliedor recommended by the manufacturer(the responsibility for the use of suchcomponents lies entirely with the fitter);■ Normal wear and tear.5. End of useful lifeDiscuss with the supplier what to dowith the CC Ease at the end of its usefullife. If the CC Ease cannot be returnedto the supplier, avoid disposing of it withthe domestic waste, and ask your localcouncil about the options for recycling thecomponents or processing the materialsin an environmentally friendly manner.6. MaintenanceThe CC Ease does not requiremaintenance. However, the ComfoAircontrolled by the CC Ease does requireperiodic maintenance. The maintenancerequired by the ComfoAir is stipulated inthe ComfoAir’s user manual.
