CM151 1-29 CA - 1387 MENUSUSER MENUS 221-1387SETUP MENUShown below is the Setup Menu for CA (A34) chassiswith its options for each item which are described asfollows:AUTO PROGRAM (A34)The Auto Program feature automatically searches for allavailable channels and marks them as ‘Added’ so thatthey may be accessed via the channel Up/Down key.In the Auto Program screen:· A message at the top displays “Auto Program” to letthe customer know that he/she has entered the AutoProgram feature.· A line at the bottom of the screen shows that theUp/Down and Left/Right Arrow keys are used for AutoProgram selections.· The current RF input type (Off Air Antenna or CableTV) is highlighted. Use the Up/Down Arrow keys tochange the RF input type.· To start the Auto Program, press the Left/Right Arrowkey. If the Cable TV input type is selected, the AutoProgram routine will determine what type of cablesystem is present.Notes:• Auto Program clears all Surfing channels whichwere added.• While searching for channels, all keys except forthe Power key are disabled. This prevents anincomplete Auto Program procedure.• Running the Auto Program will clear the factorymode, if it was active. This happens at the end ofthe Auto Program.• If the Auto Program line in the Setup Menu is‘red’, this indicates that the module did not passone of the test equipment’s tests.• If no channels are found then the followingmessage will appear: “Make sure that the cable/ant. is connected, and try again.”CHANNEL Add/Del/SurfAfter running the Auto Program, all channels found bythe Auto Program feature will be marked ‘Added’. However,some of these channels may be scrambled, or undesiredby the customer. The Add/Del/Surf feature allows thecustomer to selectively mark any channel as ‘Deleted’ or‘Added’.To change the status of a channel, press the Right/LeftArrow key.To change the channel while adding or deletingchannels, use the Channel Up/Down keys, or press thedesired channel digits, followed by the ENTER key. IfChannel Up/Down is pressed, the next or previouschannel which was marked ‘Added’ will appear. If onlyone channel is present, to change the channel thecustomer must use the digit key pad to select a channel.The following figure shows the options for the Add/Del/Surf feature.CLOCK MENUClock Set feature contains a Clock Menu for Clock Setand Date SetCLOCK SETWhen the Clock Set item is selected, pressing the Left/Right Arrow keys allows entry into the clock set menu.When no time is set, the display shows: —:— —There are two ways to set the time:1.
