Regular care will help preserve thefinish.Picture Glass CleaningThe picture tube face attracts dust particles and should becleaned regularly. To clean tile face, spray a sraall amount ofglass cleaner on a cleaning cloth and wipe the picture tubeglass face until clean. Repeat if necessary.To delay new ,Just accumulalion, wet a soft cloth in lukewarmwater in which a little fabric _oftener or Ivory dishwashing de-tergent has been mixed. Wring the cloth almost dry. Wipe theglass face. Make sure no drops of moisture are squeezed ontothe glass. Do not wipe the glass dry. Allow the glass to air-drybefore you turn the TV on aoain.EXTENDED ABSENCEBefore an extended absence (such as a vacation) you maywant to unplug the power cord from the electrical wall outlet.This will protect the TV from possible damage from lightningor power line surges.
