Calibre 459Automatic Movement Operation ManualAutomatic watches can be used only by those who are reasonably active as the automaticwinding relies on a regular movement of the wrist. The watch must be given an initial manualwind of 8 to 10 turns and provided that it is worn on the wrist for a minimum of 8 hours eachday it will continue to function indefinitely and may be taken off the wrist for a maximum periodof 30 hours. If this period is exceeded the movement will stop and another manual wind will benecessary. It must be remembered that when worn in bed the movement of the wrist isinsufficient to operate the automatic winding.Time Stand Accuracy1) 21,600 beats per hours2) Accuracy between -30 to +30 seconds per day worn under normal conditions.Butterfly Strap Adjusting InstructionFirstly, open the butterfly buckle and then pull out the pin. Adjust the strap to the requiredlength, and then push back the pin into the correct hole. If the hour hand is not synchronised to the full hour thenturn the crown anti-clockwise until the hour hand is positioned exactly on the full hourand then turn the crown clockwise until the minute hand is positioned exactly at 12o’clock mark on Dual Time minutes dial.1) Pull the crown out to first position and turn the crown anti- clockwise to set thedual time. For example, if the local time is 12 o’clock, duel time can be set fordifferent country’s local time i.e. Paris 1 o’clock.
