Calibre 456Automatic Movement Operation ManualAutomatic watches can be used only by those who are reasonably active as the automaticwinding relies on a regular movement of the wrist. The watch must be given an initial manualwind of 8 to 10 turns and provided that it is worn on the wrist for a minimum of 8 hours eachday it will continue to function indefinitely and may be taken off the wrist for a maximum periodof 30 hours. If this period is exceeded the movement will stop and another manual wind will benecessary. It must be remembered that when worn in bed the movement of the wrist isinsufficient to operate the automatic winding.Time Stand Accuracy1) 21,600 beats per hours2) Accuracy between -30 to +30 seconds per day worn under normal conditions.Butterfly Strap Adjusting InstructionFirstly, open the butterfly buckle and then pull out the pin. Adjust the strap to the requiredlength, and then push back the pin into the correct hole. For example, if the local time is 12 o’clock, duel time can be setfor different country’s local time i.e. Paris 1 o’clock. Refer to the World TimeZone table on Page 4.2) Once the correct dual time is set, turn the crown clockwise to set the correcthome time.3) The 12/24 hour dial will indicate AM or PM.4) Finally push the crown back to normal position.Important Do not set the day & date between 06.00 PM and 06.00 AM, as this maycause damage to the movement.Instructions for setting Day, Date & Month1) To achieve an accurate day setting, press button A until a day prior to the dayyou required is achieved i.e. if today is the Wednesday then set it onto theTuesday.Page 32) Now pull the crown out to first position and turn the crown anti-clockwise to setthe date prior to date you required, i.e. if today is 16 th then set it onto 15 th.3) Now pull the crown out to second position and turn the crown clockwise until thecorrect day and date is achieved.
