Unnecessary functions are disabled (e.g.buttons for selecting a split type or dialog).7.1 Tracks7.1.1 Track typesLong play tracksLP tracks are usually large ring buffers. They are used for currentrecording. One LP track is assigned to each camera.Secure tracksSecure tracks are usually relatively small ring buffers. One securetrack can be assigned to each camera. The recording settings forsecure tracks may differ from those of a LP track.These secure tracks will be saved as soon as an alarm is triggeredon the recorder (see Installation and Configuration). This preventsthe current pictures from being overwritten. New secure tracks willsubsequently be created in which the recording is continued.Saved tracksSaved tracks are secure tracks that have been protected againstoverwriting after an alarm had been triggered. Depending on thenumber of triggered alarms, more than one saved track may existfor each camera.Reference trackSingle images of the cameras are stored in the reference track.These images can be used to compare current camera settingsand positions with the original conditions. Reference tracks aretherefore not used for recording or playback.
