The guard must withstandthe kinetic energy of a fan blade detaching at maximumspeed.→ The device is a built-in component. You, the owner/operator, are responsible for providing adequate protection forthe device.→ Instantly stop the device once you detect a missing orineffective protective feature.1.6 Mechanical movementDANGERRotating deviceBody parts coming into contact with the rotor and impeller canbe injured.→ Secure the device against accidental contact.→ Before working on the system/machine, wait until allparts have come to a standstill.WARNINGRotating deviceLong hair, loose items of clothing and jewellery could becomeentangled and pulled into the device.
