Additionally, the individ-ual steps will be explained in detail.Read the complete manual beforeuse.After connecting the device to thepower press the standby button (9)to make it start rotating. Use the (3)and (4) buttons to select a rotationspeed. Manufacturers often providerecommendations for optimal rota-tion speeds. However, it is im-portant that you never exceed themaximum recommended rotationspeed.You can now choose a rotationdirection using the button (6). Themost commonly used direction isclockwise. Most milling instrument(steel instruments with steel cutters)are optimized for clockwise use.The rotation direction is irrelevantfor diamond cutters and high-gradecorundum sanders in terms of effi-ciency. Working anti-clockwise canbe beneficial if, for example, thedust obscures your field of visionwhen working clockwise.Switch on the suction with button(2). Using buttons (1) and (2) youcan adjust the intensity of the suc-tion.Frequently used rotation speedsand suction power settings can besaved. First select the desired rota-tion speed and suction power. Afterchoosing a rotation speed and suc-tion power you can start working. Ifyou want to take a break or finishthe job, press the standby button(9). The handpiece motor and suc-tion will turn off. The handpiece cannow be placed in its holder on theright of the unit. Alternatively, youcan switch the device to standby bypressing the button on the footswitch.We recommend you disconnect thedevice from the mains power supplyif is not going to be used for a while.This will save electricity. The mainsplug must also be removed when itcomes to retiring the device.
