3Assembly• The radiator will make cracking noises when it is first turnedon and when it is turned off and cooling down.Location of the RadiatorThe radiator should be positioned where you most need the warmth. It is recommended to place the radiator underneath thecoldest window in the room as this helps to increase the convective movement of the heat. Do not locate the radiatorunderneath a fixed power point and always ensure that the radiator is placed at least 50cm away from furniture, curtains, wallsetc.ThermostatThe thermostat controls the heat output according to the room temperature. This makes the heater more economical to run as itwill not produce heat when the room is too warm. To set the required temperature you require, turn the thermostat dial clockwiseuntil the required setting is reached. If the room needs to be heated up quickly , turn the thermostat dial up fully. When thedesired room temperature is reached, turn the thermostat dial anti-clockwise until the thermostat ‘clicks’ off. The heater will thenmaintain the required room temperature and will switch on and off automatically which will be indicated by the Power Indicatorlamp turning on and off.Note: If the heater does not come on when the thermostat is at a low setting, this may be due to the room temperature beinghigher than the thermostat setting.Power Level DialThe Power Level dial provides a choice of heat output to suit varying conditions and for economy of operation.Model Position 1 Position 2 Position 3IG1600 400W 600W 1000WIG1650 700W 800W 1500WIG2600 900W 1100W 2000WIG2605 900W 1100W 2000WIG2650 1200W 1300W 2500WIG2655 1200W 1300W 2500WTimer Instructions (IG2605 & IG2655 Only)The timer on the radiator is a 24 hour programmable timer with 15 minute interval settings and 48 on/off cycles everyday.
