CLEANING AND PREVENTIVEMAINTENANCEPRECAUTION AND CLEANINGINSTRUCTIONS- IMPORTANT : Before carrying out thecleaning and maintenance operations,disconnect the equipment from the mainspower supply:- Follow the directions on the maitenance inthis guide;- Wear protective clothing and gloves whenchallenged elements are impregned withclearing solution;- high temperatures can be reached insidethe machine (90°C). After power supply has beenremoved, wait until the machine has reachedroom temperature, before working on it.- never leave tools, parts or other loosematerial in or on the machine;- Chek that there are no rusting foreignbodies, because of the material “stainlesssteel” could begin to rust. Rust particles cancome from non- stainless steel dishes ordamaged wire baskets.- Do not wash the machine and the areasurrounding it with fire hydrants, steam jetsof high-pressure cleaners;- When clearing the floor be careful notto saturate the base of the machine, in orderto avoid a prolonged stagnation of water;- To clean the inside of the machine, usea brush or a soft cloth;- To clean the machine do not useabrasive cleaners;- BEFORE starting machine or cycle, afterany maintenance or repair work, make sureall protectives are correctly installed;DAILY MAINTENANCE- Turn off the machine by pressing theswitch “A” and drain the water fromthe tank by removing the overflow;- Wait until the water is drained andthere is no debris on the bottom of thetank.- Proceed to the specific operation ofdaily clearing as descrbed on the nextpage- (only for L305-CV) Clean the filter of thesteam condenser that is placed in the upperpart of the hood;- If there is an extended downtime isadvisable to prevent the formation ofunpleasant odors and leave the hoodraised.- When the machine is to remain idle for along time, drain all the water from theboiler (the drain plug is located on thelower side of the boiler) and from theelectropump. Also leave the wash tankopen.NEVER WASH THE EXTERNAL PARTOF THE MACHINE WITH A WATER JET
