Humidity controlThe primary purpose of ventilation is to remove humidity from the home to avoid damages to thebuilding, and simultaneously, to achieve good indoor air quality for the residents. During longer periodsfo sub-zero temperatures, air humidity in the home may fall to a level which is critical for the buildingand the indoor climate. Wooden floors, furniture and walls can be damaged by overlyd dry air, and dustmay be whipped up, impairing the air quality.To remedy this, the control system has an integral humidity control, which maintains a good relativehumidity. When the average air humidity in a dwelling falls below a set level (default setting 30%), adecision may be made to reduce ventilation. This will typically only be for short periods. In this way itwill be possible to avoid further drying out of the air humidity in the dwelling.The humidity control system also has a function which allows for increasing ventilation if air humiditybecomes too high, e.g. during showering. This reduces the risk of mould growth in bathrooms, and inmost cases will avoid bathroom mirrors misting up.The humidity control system follows the average air humidity measured over the last 24 hours. In thisway, the system automatically adapts to summer and winter conditions.VentilationHumidity control↳ Low humidity level Settings:Standard setting:Description:15 ↔ 45 %30 %The humitidy control calculates the average airhumidity measured over the last 24 hours. If theaverage air humidity in the extract air falls below thislevel, the "Low humidity" function is activated.↳ Fan speed at low humidity Settings:Standard setting:Description:Level 1 / Level 2 / Level 3Level 1In case of "Low humidity", the unit changes to the setfan speed level.↳ Fan speed at high humidity Settings:Standard setting:Description:Level 2 / Level 3 / Level 4Level 3In case of "High humidity", the unit changes to the setfans speed level↳ Max. time at high humidity (min) Settings:Standard setting:Description:0 ↔ 180 minutes30 minutesThe function "High humidity" stops when the actual airhumidity is 3% above average air humidity.There is at time limit set, for how long time thisfunction are allowed to run. If it is set to 0 minutes thefunction is de-activated.↳ Average air humidity Description: This shows the relative humidity in the extract air asan average over the last 24 hours.Prioritisation sequence in the control system:1.
