CR Series Upright BassINSTRUCTIONSSTANDRemove the stand from the gig bag. Open and secure the legsso that the two front legs give the widest possible stance (asshown). The shorter back leg should be at a slight angle, so thatthe main post tilts back slightly.Remove the instrument from the padded inner bag. Screw thelarge thumbscrew at the top of the stand into the threaded inserton the back of the bass. Adjust as desired, making sure that theweight of the instrument is centered and stable on the stand.Note that the stand is designed to be highly adjustable, andtherefore the instrument can be set in various positions,including horizontal.Caution: It is possible to set up the stand in an unstableposition. Hold at desired height and re-tighten set screw.Output level for each mode of the Polar (piezo) bridge pickup can be adjusted with small trim pots that arefound on the circuit board in the body cavity, accessible through three small holes in the back plate. Usea small Phillips screwdriver.
