If you have two accounts, Treo auto-retrieves emails for only thecurrent account. To change the current account, press Menu , thenfrom the View menu, choose another account.I can’t open or save an attachment• You can only open attachments that are supported by the built-insoftware on your Treo, or by third-party applications that can open theattachment type. If you can’t open an attachment on your Treo, theattachment appears with the paperclip icon .• Large attachments may be truncated, which prevents you from savingthem. Scroll to the bottom of the email message to see if this is the case.To retrieve the rest of the attachment, press Menu , then from theMessage menu, choose Get Entire Message. This downloads theremainder of the attachment so that you can save it.I can’t send emailYour ability to send email depends on several factors. You may need to enteradditional information into the Mail application. Also, some mobile serviceproviders use Internet security requirements that may cause difficulties withyour email service.MailI can’t receive emailFirst, make sure you have Internet access: launch the Blazer web browser tosee if you can view a web page you’ve successfully viewed before. Ifnecessary, ensure that you are viewing the page directly from the Internet:press Menu , then from the Page menu, choose Refresh. The emailaccount you use with the Mail application must be POP3-compatible, suchas Earthlink.1. In Mail, press Menu .2. From the View menu, choose Edit Accounts.3. Highlight an account, then choose Edit.4. Make sure your email address and password are correct.5. Choose the Server tab.6. Check the Incoming (POP3) Server and Outgoing (SMTP) Serversettings for your email account. If you do not have this information,please contact your email service provider.7. If thishappens, check yourDelivery Preferences. If thepreferences are set toretrieve only recent emails,any older emails mayappear in the total number,but are not delivered toyour Treo.
