You are not using a proper null modem cable, refer to “Examplesof Null Modem Cables You Can Use” on page 113. The following settings are different on your unit andmanagement station: Flow control. Speed (baud rate). The unit has automatically configured its communication speed,but you have subsequently changed the speed configured onyour management station (the device only automaticallyconfigures the speed the first time it connects). You have selected the wrong COM port on your managementstation.To change some of the settings for the management station, use theAdvanced Configuration Parameters dialog box. To display this, selectthe Serial Web Setup program item in the Serial Web program group.
