Dependingon the functional area in which a fault occurs, you can assign the fault toone of the following categories: System Performance Security Client3WXM also organizes faults according to severity: Critical (Red) Major (Orange) Minor (Yellow) Informational (Blue)3WXM displays a single fault management table that allows you to viewall fault-related information, including the fault's functional area andseverity, a description of the fault, the source of the fault WX, its currentstate, and tasks –including alarm management, resolutions, and reports.For each fault event, 3WXM provides additional information such as thecause, fault object, and event history. The overall status, which is aconsolidation of the operational status and fault severity, displays at theappropriate physical or logical entity in the monitoring view.Click on a fault event, and an information pane will appear at the bottomof the Alarms panel. 3WXM displays the Alarm Details view by default, asshown in the screen below. The Alarm Details view provides additionalinformation regarding a specific fault that does not appear in the tabularform, such as State, Time Created, Last Updated By, Generated By,Transmitter MAC Address, SSID, and Number of Events.
