The applicationconfiguration is built up with function blocks.Function blocks are dedicated for different functionality, for example:• Preprocessing blocks• Control related functions• Protection related functions• Monitoring functions• CommunicationFor detailed information about function blocks see the technicalmanual and the application manual.Some function blocks are mapped as logical nodes according to the IEC 61850standard.
