If a block/unblock command is sent from remote to function, whilethe IED is shut down, this command will not be recognized afterthe start up, thus the command that was sent prior to the shut downis used. In such cases, where there is a mismatch, the user isadvised to make a complete cycle of block/unblock operations toalign the statuses.6.8 Testing logic functions6.8.1 Tripping logic SMPPTRCPrepare the IED for verification of settings as outlined in 5.1 "Preparing the IED toverify settings".Values of the logical signals for SMPPTRC are available on the local HMI underMain menu/Tests/Function status/Logic/SMPPTRC(94,1->0)/X:SMPPTRC.The Signal Monitoring in PCM600 shows the same signals that are available on thelocal HMI.This function is functionality tested together with other protection functions (earth-fault overcurrent protection, and so on) within the IED. It is recommended that thefunction is tested together with the autorecloser function, or when a separateexternal unit is used for reclosing purposes. The testing is preferably done inconjunction with the protection system and autorecloser function.6.8.1.1 Three phase operating mode1. Check that AutoLock and TripLockout are both set to Off.2. Initiate a three-phase faultAn adequate time interval between the faults should be considered, toovercome a reclaim time caused by the possible activation of the Autorecloserfunction SMBRREC. The function must issue a three-phase trip in all cases, when trip is initiated by any protection or some other built-in or externalfunction. The functional TRIP output signal must always appear.6.8.1.2 Circuit breaker lockoutThe following tests should be carried out when the built-in lockout function is usedin addition to possible other tests, which depends on the complete configuration ofan IED.1. Check that AutoLock and TripLockout are both set to Off.2. Initiate a three-phase fault.Section 6 1MRK 511 248-UEN -Testing functionality84Commissioning Manual
