14.10.2 Application SEMOD158637-5 v4Automation bits, command function for DNP3 (AUTOBITS) is used withinPCM600 in order to get into the configuration the commands coming through theDNP3.0 protocol. The AUTOBITS function plays the same role as functionsGOOSEBINRCV (for IEC 61850) and MULTICMDRCV (for LON).AUTOBITSfunction block have 32 individual outputs which each can be mapped as a BinaryOutput point in DNP3. The output is operated by a "Object 12" in DNP3. Thisobject contains parameters for control-code, count, on-time and off-time. Tooperate an AUTOBITS output point, send a control-code of latch-On, latch-Off,pulse-On, pulse-Off, Trip or Close. The remaining parameters are regarded asappropriate. For example, pulse-On, on-time=100, off-time=300, count=5 wouldgive 5 positive 100 ms pulses, 300 ms apart. For description of the DNP3 protocol implementation, refer to the Communicationmanual.14.10.3 Setting guidelines SEMOD158639-5 v3AUTOBITS function block has one setting, (Operation: On/Off) enabling ordisabling the function. These names will be seen in the DNP3 communicationmanagement tool in PCM600.14.11 Single command, 16 signals SINGLECMD SEMOD119849-1 v214.11.1 IdentificationGUID-2217CCC2-5581-407F-A4BC-266CD6808984 v1Function description IEC 61850identificationIEC 60617identificationANSI/IEEE C37.2device numberSingle command, 16 signals SINGLECMD - -14.11.2 Application M12445-3 v3Single command, 16 signals (SINGLECMD) is a common function and alwaysincluded in the IED.The IEDs may be provided with a function to receive commands either from asubstation automation system or from the local HMI. That receiving function blockhas outputs that can be used, for example, to control high voltage apparatuses inswitchyards. For local control functions, the local HMI can also be used. Togetherwith the configuration logic circuits, the user can govern pulses or steady outputsignals for control purposes within the IED or via binary outputs.1MRK 511 401-UEN A Section 14ControlBay control REC670 2.2 IEC 429Application manual
